Faculty members are required to teach their regular academic-year course load even if teaching
a reduced load at a residential study abroad program. For example, a faculty member with a
four-course academic year teaching load, who teaches one course in a residential study abroad
program during the Fall semester, would teach three courses on the Athens campus during the
following (or preceding) Spring semester.
