Summary: News & Notes April 30, 2007
Devin Collins and Brad Sayles are the winners
of the 2006 Louisa Sarofim competition. Mr.
Collins (studio of Marcus Maroney) won the
undergraduate division for his composition
String Quartet No. 2. Mr. Sayles (studio of
Robert Nelson) won the graduate division for
his composition The Lily. Both winners will
receive a cash award, as well as possible
performance of their winning work on the 2007-
2008 AURA concert series.
