Come join the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center for complimentary
afternoons of MUSIC and DRAMA! PDMD has joined with the Institute for Therapy
Through the Arts (ITA) to offer people with PD, and their family members and care
partners, an exciting creative arts experience.
Aside from being FUN and SOCIAL, participation in the arts has many benefits:
Improvement in physical coordination and functional movement
Postural awareness
Speech and voice enrichment
Word recall and articulation
Enhanced mood and positive attitude
When: 2nd
and 4th
Monday of every month from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
Where: Prentice Women's Hospital, 250 E. Superior St. - 3rd
Floor, Room Q
