Abstract
Couple interaction is a complex issue as it
involves volatile human behavior, personality, and
emotions. Using MATES (Marital Agent Trait-
based Emotion System), we program two
individual agents to take on the personality of a
couple (Alice and Bob). These agents then
converse with each other based on the current
plans, goals, events, history, personality, and
emotions.
