Description of International Business
The Terry College of Business International Business Program gives its graduates a global competitive edge by providing
opportunities for students to gain the knowledge and skills required to understand the mechanisms and institutions of the
international economy. The curriculum gives students an in-depth understanding of the international business
arena and the means of competing in a multi-cultural, global environment. Students are introduced to the
international facets of economics, finance, information technology, law, management, or marketing.
International Business students will complete one of the following: an approved, 3-hour study abroad program;
an approved internship with an international component in a company doing global business; or two additional
language-related courses in the student's selected language.
