2 Positions: English Language Studies Associate
(1 Year Full-time Terms)
The English Language Studies program is currently seeking two English Language Associates
to join its dynamic team. The English Language Studies program offers both Pre-English for
Academic Purpose (PEAP) and English for Academic Purpose (EAP) courses to international
students who are seeking to fulfil the English Proficiency requirements to enter into UNBC
Undergraduate programs.
Duties:
The English Language Studies Associate's duties include, but are not limited to:
· Instruction and course planning based on the UNBC English Language Studies curriculum
· Preparing and marking of assignments that promote betterment of language skills
· Conducting needs assessment with students
· Evaluating student's language proficiency development
· Assisting in future curriculum and program development
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of an Undergraduate degree in a relevant
field with a certificate in TESOL or CELTA from a recognized institution, together with a
minimum of three years relevant experience teaching in a post secondary institutional setting.
