Abstract
In this course, we introduce kinetic equations, and notably the VlasovPoisson
and VlasovMaxwell systems, and we describe their mathematical structure. We
give an overview of the classical ingredients used in this domain: transport equa
tions theory, a priori estimates, averaging lemmas, dispersion estimates.
