· Recycling one can saves enough energy to run a TV for three
hours or a 100-watt light bulb for four hours.
· Used plastic soda & juice bottles are used to make carpets,
insulating materials in clothes and sleeping bags, strapping,
scouring, pads, auto parts, paint brushes, bottles, and other things
like tennis balls!
