Summary: Curriculum Vitae et Studiorum
Marco Bernardo
1 General Information
Marco Bernardo was born in Bologna in 1970. He received a Laurea Degree and a Ph.D. in Computer Science
from the University of Bologna in 1994 and 1999, respectively.
From November 1999 to October 2001 he was a Researcher at the University of Torino. From November
2001 he is an Associate Professor at the University of Urbino, where he is the President of the Undergraduate

communication and software systems that achieves a reasonable balance among formality, expressivity, us-
ability, and e∆ciency. His research interests include semantics of concurrent programming, modeling and
veri cation of concurrent systems, performance evaluation of distributed systems and computer networks,
foundations of software architecture and engineering, and automated support for system speci cation and
