This book presents papers given at a conference which considered parallel processing. Topics covered at the conference included transformations realizing fairness assumptions for parallel programs, approximation schemes for robotics and VLSI, denotational semantics of concurrent programs with shared memory, efficient simulations among several models of parallel computers, logic programs and many-valued logic, and algebraic and topological theory of languages and computation.
