| Description/Abstract | Withdrawal of the 3M Co. from the ceramic heat-wheel market will have little, if any, impact on other manufacturers of heat recovery equipment with the exception of those marketing other heat wheel-based products. For the rest, the immediate prospect of selling the heat recovery concept to industry remains grim, in light of the 50 percent sales slump experienced so far this year. Most equipment marketers explain the slump by saying industry is less concerned with higher energy costs than it is with potential fuel allocations. |
