Description/AbstractCarbon widths have been determined for resonances found in the total reaction cross section of the /sup 12/C+/sup 12/C reaction. A comparison of reduced carbon widths and single particle widths shows that a few resonance states in the energy range 7--12 MeV (c.m.) are possible candidates for a /sup 12/C+/sup 12/C nuclear molecule.
