CHARACTERISTICS OF PM-1 (SUNDANCE)

Description/Abstract

The PM-1 pressurized-water reactor, which went critical at Sundance, Wyoming, on Feb. 25, 1962, is described. The PM-3A in Antarctica is mentioned briefly. PM-1 data are given on the reactor design, nuclear design, and heat transfer. (D.L.C.)
