| Description/Abstract | The main ingredients of the method of infinite multiplets consists of: (1) the use of wave functions with an infinite number of components for describing an infinite tower of discrete states of an isolated system (such as an atom, a nucleus, or a hadron), (2) the use of group theory, instead of dynamical considerations, in determining the properties of the wave functions. |
