Title: Overlapping double etch technique for evaluation of metallic alloys to stress corrosion cracking

Abstract

A double overlapping etch zone technique for evaluation of the resistance of metallic alloys to stress corrosion cracking. The technique involves evaluating the metallic alloy along the line of demarcation between an overlapping double etch zone and single etch zone formed on the metallic alloy surface.
