| Abstract | The existing data on e{sup +-}..mu..{sup -+}, e{sup +-}x{sup -+}, ..mu..{sup +-}x{sup -+}, and related events produced in e{sup +}e{sup -} annihilation are reviewed. All data are consistent with the existence of a new charged lepton, tau{sup +-}, of mass 1.9 +- .1 GeV/c{sup 2}. | |
