 DescriptionThe Space Science and Engineering Center is a research and development center affiliated with the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Graduate School. It’s primary focus is on geophysical research and technology to enhance understanding of the atmosphere of Earth, the other planets in the Solar System, and the cosmos. SSEC develops new observing tools for spacecraft, aircraft, and ground-based platforms, and models atmospheric phenomena.
