Overview of property formulations for helium, nitrogen, lithium, and lithium-lead in ATHENA/MOD1 with comparison of calculated properties to measured properties

Formulation for the thermodynamic and transport properties of the fluids used by the ATHENA/MOD1 computer program for fusion safety research have been obtained from various sources, including published documents and empirical curve-fitting to data. The sources and/or formulations are stated herein. Comparison plots of ATHENA calculated thermodynamic properties and transport properties with measured data ate included as part of the verification and validation effort for the ATHENA fusion fluids.
