Heavy Mark 16B-Mark 31 reactivity data for shutdown and ECS (Emergency Cooling System) analysis

The K-10 Mark 16B-31 charge was specified to contain Mark 16B assemblies. The use of the heavier fuel is expected to continue. The Mark 16B-31 charges over this general range of fuel content must be subjected to an analysis of the ability of the Emergency Cooling System (ECS) to prevent unacceptable core damage in the event of either a Loss of Coolant Accident (LOCA) or a Loss of Pumping Accident (LOPA). In addition, certain shutdown system reactivities must be evaluated to insure compliance with the Technical Standards. 9 refs., 6 tabs.
