This bibliography contains citations concerning lead (metal) exposure in children and infants and the consequent health effects. Numerous demographic and statistical studies on childhood exposure to lead are presented, as well as prenatal and peripheral exposure that occurs when a family member works in a lead-filled environment. Clinical articles regarding health effects such as impaired learning, hearing loss, the effects on physical development, and anemia are also considered. (This updated bibliography contains 338 citations, 95 of which are new entries to the previous edition.)
