Atmospheric methane data for 1989-1992 from the NOAA/CMDL global cooperative air sampling network. Technical memo
Measurements are presented of atmospheric methane from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Climate Monitoring and Diagnostics Laboratory (NOAA/CMDL) cooperative air sampling network. The format is similar to that of three earlier memoranda that detail the sampling history, methodologies, procedures, instruments, and calibration history of the NOAA/CMDL methane measurement program. In this report the authors cover the period 1989-1992. The air sampling procedures and equipment, changes to the air sampling network, and analysis system are discussed. Monthly mean mixing ratios, determined from curves fitted to the measurement data, are tabulated for each site. The measurements are plotted versus time for each site.
