The sale of by-products extracted during natural gas processing could add significantly to the economics of producing gas. The by-products natural gas liquids (NGLs), helium, sulfur, carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen were examined. The sources of supply and final consumption, pricing histories, impacted of logistical considerations, and a general assessment of the economics are discussed.
