Calculation of the radiative corrections to the cross section for electron-nucleus scattering by the method of structure functions

The cross section for eA deep inelastic scattering including radiative corrections to all orders of perturbation theory is represented as a convolution of the electron structure functions with the hard part of the cross section. The hard part of the cross section is calculated explicitly in the lowest orders of perturbation theory. The formulae obtained ensure accuracy better than 1% even when the first-order corrections in ..cap alpha.. are large (approx.100%).
