Stokes parameters and rovibrationally resolved cross sections for the [ital X][sup 1][Sigma][sub [ital g]][sup +]([ital v]=0, N=1)[r arrow]d[sup 3][Pi][sub u][sup [minus]](v=0, [ital N]=1) excitation in H[sub 2]

We report for the first time the calculation of Stokes parameters and state-to-state rovibrationally resolved differential cross sections for the excitation [ital X][sup 1][Sigma][sub [ital g]][sup +]([ital v]=0, [ital N]=1)[r arrow][ital d][sup 3][Pi][sub [ital u]][sup [minus]]([ital v]=0, [ital N]=1) in H[sub 2] by electron impact at 25 eV. Comparison with the only available experimental data is encouraging.
