The phase relations involving the 24 K n-type Nd{sub 2{minus}x}Ce{sub x}CuO{sub 4} superconductor were investigated at 1000{degrees}C in air. The terminal solid solubility was confirmed to be x = 0.2. This solid solution is the only ternary phase in the Nd{sub 2}O{sub 3}-CeO{sub 2}-CuO diagram. A binary (1 {minus} y) CeO{sub 2{minus}y}NdO{sub 1.5} solid solution exists out to y = 0.4. Phase diagrams for NdO{sub 1.5}-CeO{sub 2}-CuP (1000{degrees}C) and NdO{sub 1.5}-CeO{sub 2} (900{degrees} to 1500{degrees}C) are presented.
