Title: Two characteristic scales of turbulent markers of the flow recorded by electromagnetic transducers of a correlation flowmeter

Since the creation of fast-neutron power reactors with a sodium coolant required the development of means to measure the flow rate of sodium in the heat-removing circuits of the plants which provide on-site calibration and checking, the authors investigate the metrological possibilities of correlation flowmeters. This requires the solution of a complex set of problems related to a study of the hydrodynamics of the turbuent markers of the flow, and their interaction with the magnetic fields of the transducers. Some results in this direction on a sodium metrological flowmeter stand are presented here.
