Beamline for the characterization of radiation transfer standards ranging from 200 to 2000 eV

A novel soft x-ray beamline equipped with a specially designed Rowland circle monochromator has been installed at the laboratory of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) at the Berliner Elektronenspeicherring-Gesellschaft f/umlt u/r Synchrotronstrahlung mbH (BESSY) for spectral radiant power determination of radiation sources and for spectral responsivity calibration of detectors in the photon energy range from 200 to 2000 eV. The mechanical and optical performances are presented, together with data on output flux and resolution of the monochromator.
