The LTSS Shell provides an environment within the NLTSS system for the execution of LTSS programs. LTSS programs that make system requests through BASELIB can be reloaded with the Shell compatible library. NBASELIB, to make equivalent requests to the LTSS Shell. The Shell provides a terminal view of NLTSS that closely resembles LTSS, and maps the structure of the LTSS filing system onto the NLTSS directory system.
