Monte Carlo simulations indicate that electron-neutron coincidence events from (inelastic) background processes can be reduced to a small fraction of the (quasielastic) signal events by appropriate choices for the electron momentum bite and the horizontal angular acceptance of the neutron polarimeter. Electron scattering angles larger than about 25[degree] are needed to achieve small uncertainties in the electric form factor of the neutron.
