Selected ARGUS results on [ital B] meson decays

Semileptonic [ital B] meson decays have been studied using the ARGUS detector at DORIS II. The branching ratio for the decay [ital [bar B]][sup 0][r arrow][ital D]*[sup +][ital l][sup [minus]][bar [nu]] has been measured. A significant rate for the decay [ital [bar B]][r arrow][ital D]**[ital l][sup [minus]][bar [nu]] has been observed. From an angular analysis of the cascade [ital [bar B]][sup 0][r arrow][ital D]*[sup +]([r arrow][ital D][sup 0][pi][sup +])[ital l][sup +][bar [nu]], the forward-backward asymmetry [ital A][sub [ital FB]] and the [ital D]*[sup +] polarization parameter [alpha] have been determined. The decay [ital [bar B]][sup 0][r arrow][ital D]*[sup +][ital l][sup [minus]][bar [nu]] have been also measured with partial reconstruction of the [ital D]*[sup +] meson, and for the first time the inclusive primary electron spectrum in the whole momentum interval has been analyzed.
