Wind and seismic analysis of AN-107 densitometer and support assemblies

The analysis of the densitometer and electrical support assemblies considers the sliding and overturning stability in reference to wind and seismic loading. Both assemblies meet the safety class 3 requirements as specified in DOE-RL 1993. The bending stress of the 4-in. riser supporting the densitometer assembly is evaluated to ensure that the requirements of the American Institute for Steel Construction (AISC 1989) are met.
