Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:5197839
A short technical and economic analysis of a proposed tidal power plant in the Gulf of Mexico suggests that it is technically feasible, and the cost of electric power appears comparable with that from alternative sources. The potential for tidal power in California is also briefly reviewed; the amount of tidal power in California is not large and the cost would be very high.
