The volume summarizes the research undertaken to determine the effects of highway stormwater runoff on receiving waters. Included in the effort were one-year field studies at three sites and preparation of three user-oriented manuals: (1) a guidelines manual for conducting field studies of receiving water effects, (2) a procedural manual for use in writing NEPA documents, and (3) a resource document which summarizes all existing information on receiving-water effects.
