Electrical Conductivity of Ammonium Perchlorate
An investigation was made of the electric conductivity of ammonium perchlorate (solid) as a function of temperature and gaseous atmosphere. The conductivity measurements were made over the temperature range of 25 to 125 deg C under vacuum aad in oxygen and argon. Results are presented in graph form with conductivity decreasing linearly with (1/T) x 10³ deg K⁻¹. Argon and oxygen depressed the electric conductivity approximately one and two orders of magnitude, respectively. (M.C.G.)
