Energy performance listings: Electric motors. Volume I: Open dripproof motors
Energy Performance Listings for Motors is one of a series being developed to support purchasing and procurement in federal, state, and local governments, and to meet the needs of utility companies, energy interest groups, and research organizations. The Listings were developed by NYSERDA and are being marketed through the Energy-Efficient Procurement Collaborative, Inc. Energy-efficiency levels, performance characteristics, manufacturer names, and compliance with existing standards are provided for more than 100,000 models. Standards indicated in the Listings include those set by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE), the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE); U.S. DOE`s Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP); and U.S. DOE/U.S. EPA`s Energy Star Program. In addition to procurement professionals, the listings may be used for program design and planning purposes, as well as to assist consumers, building contractors, and design professionals in selecting equipment.
