Local magnetization measurements using micro Hall probes were carried out on a quasi two-dimensional organic superconductor {kappa}-(BEDT-TTF){sub 2}Cu(NCS){sub 2}. Peak structures in the local magnetization hysteresis loops were found at around 50 G. The authors ascribe this anomaly to the field-induced decomposition of vortex lines into pancake vortices, which is found in a high temperature superconductor Bi{sub 2}Sr{sub 2}CaCu{sub 2}O{sub 8+y}. Mixed state phase diagram in {kappa}-(BEDT-TTF){sub 2}Cu(NCS){sub 2} is compared with that in Bi{sub 2}Sr{sub 2}CaCu{sub 2}O{sub 8+y}.
