Investigations were conducted into the effects of different anions on the stability of homonuclear polyatomic cations of bismuth. The system Bi-(BiCl3+3/2HfCl4), Bi-(BiCl3+3TaCl5), Bi-BiCl3-KCl, and Bi (BiBr3+3AlBr3) were studied.
