The polarized storage cell gas target for the ANKE spectrometer at COSY--tatus and design considerations

An atomic beam source for polarized hydrogen and deuterium atoms is under construction. The source will be used to inject polarized atoms into a thin-walled storage-cell target at the magnet spectrometer ANKE in COSY-Juelich.
