We present partial branching fractions for inclusive charmless semileptonic B decays B{yields}X{sub u}l{nu}, and the determination of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element |V{sub ub}|. The analysis is based on a sample of 383x10{sup 6} {upsilon}(4S) decays into BB pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II e{sup +}e{sup -} storage rings. We select events using the invariant mass M{sub X} of the hadronic system, the invariant mass squared, q{sup 2}, of the lepton and neutrino pair, the kinematic variable P{sub +}, or one of their combinations. We then determine partial branching fractions in limited regions of phase space: {delta}B=(1.18{+-}0.09{sub stat}{+-}0.07{sub syst}{+-}0.01{sub theor})x10{sup -3} (M{sub X}<1.55 GeV/c{sup 2}), {delta}B=(0.95{+-}0.10{sub stat}{+-}0.08{sub syst}{+-}0.01{sub theor})x10{sup -3} (P{sub +}<0.66 GeV/c), and {delta}B=(0.81{+-}0.08{sub stat}{+-}0.07{sub syst}{+-}0.02{sub theor})x10{sup -3} (M{sub X}<1.7 GeV/c{sup 2}, q{sup 2}>8 GeV{sup 2}/c{sup 4}). Corresponding values of |V{sub ub}| are extracted using several theoretical calculations.
