Title: Approximated Faddeev-Niemi Knotted Solitons

Application of the eikonal knots and their generalization in the context of the Skyrme-Faddeev-Niemi model is discussed. We show that eikonal knots appear in a very natural way in the SFN theory as solutions of the integrability condition. Moreover, they allow for analytical investigation of qualitative (Hopf index and geometry) as well as quantitative (energy) features of the SFN hopfions.
