This decision document describes EAFB`s selected interim remedial action for OU-1. This ROD is for an interim action at OU-1 and is the first ROD for EAFB. The selected interim action remedy for soil and ground-water contamination cleanup at OU-1 consists of: soil vapor extraction (SVE); ground-water removal by wells and an existing interceptor trench; treatment of soil gas, condensate, and ground-water; and surface discharge of treatment effluent.
