The Materials Project

HgO2 is Indium structured and crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/m space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of two mercury hydroxide molecules. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent O atoms. Both Hg–O bond lengths are 2.15 Å. O is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to one Hg atom.
