Materials Data on DyHg2 by Materials Project
DyHg2 crystallizes in the trigonal P-3m1 space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one DyHg2 sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Dy is bonded in a distorted hexagonal planar geometry to six equivalent Hg atoms. All Dy–Hg bond lengths are 3.10 Å. Hg is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to three equivalent Dy atoms.
