The bibliography contains citations concerning the contamination of air by radioisotopes emitted from nuclear power plants, radioactive waste burial sites, mines, and nuclear weapons testing. Measurements of radioactive particles in the air in a number of locations worldwide are included. Absorption of radioisotopes from the air to the food chain is examined. Models and computer programs estimating the release of radioactive particles to the atmosphere in the event of a nuclear power plant accident, and measurements of radioactive atmospheric pollution from the Chernobyl accident are emphasized.
