CTrilinos provides a C language interface to a subset of Trilinos. The interface hides the object-oriented nature of Trilinos by allowing these objects to be acted upon using a set of three integers that uniquely identify the object. No pointers to the underlying objects are made available for direct manipulation, protecting against segmentation faults. CTrilinos serves as a base layer over which the ForTrilinos linking layer operates, facilitating the use Trilinos from object-oriented Fortran.CTrilinos can be applied wherever the supported underlying Trilinos packages can be applied.
