Alternative Energy Technology: Biofuels


Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) is the first community college in North Carolina to offer a biofuels curriculum to aid the growth of the biofuels industry in North Carolina through small business development and workforce training.


The Biofuels Program is an interdisciplinary curriculum combining chemistry, biotechnology, industrial design, sustainable agriculture, and energy resource management. Students have the opportunity to work with the biofuels industry through education outreach and a cooperative learning experience.
